I was selected along with seven other students to design a new temporary exhibit at the Georgia Southern Museum, "Climate Connected: Tracing Climate Change from Georgia to Ireland. The work load was split into two teams, the branding team and the wall design team. I was on the branding team and designed the logo, chose the font family for the exhibit, designed stickers, and merchandise.
The logo is meant resemble the gulf stream traveling from sea to land which connects the two climates of Georgia and Ireland. The logo was originally two connected Cs but the clients expressed the want for more color and meaning in the logo.
I chose the Museo font family for it's warmth and inviting look. Museo Sans Display Black is used for headers and the logo title. Museo Sans 300 is used for subheaders and the subtitle of the logo. Museo 300 is used for paragraph text.
