The Classic brand was one of my largest projects while at Georgia Southern University. What was to be included in this project was a brand concept created by me, all core branding elements (i.e. logo, color palette, typography, stationary, product design, advertisements, and business uniforms/vehicle design.) All of these elements and more were to be put in a Graphic Standards Manual.
BRANDMARK
The brandmark features a flowing middle part hairstyle with cut out hair strands to give depth to the silhouette. The “Classic” name is written in a connected brush script typeface, indicative of elegance and a time past. The hair was created using a grid build out of the X-Height of the name. All four sides as well as the pointed edges of the hair strands touch this grid.
